I asked for my first sewing machine when I was 10 years old - inspired by my Grandmother, Ninner, who so lovingly spent many an hour at her built-in sewing machine stitching away for all the ladies in my family.
Painting was a favorite hobby of mine as well, putting most of my designs on old t-shirts & such for awhile, but I really took to it after taking Art in Jr. High. I enrolled in classes every year thereafter and I haven't put down a brush since...
From a young age, I loved giving hand-made goodies to my friends and family, and loved even more to see the reaction on their face when they realized I had made it especially for them. It thrills my heart to hear them tell me 'Remember when you made me 'such-and-such'? I still have it!'
{tutu.cute & co.} came about after my husband of 7 years & I welcomed our sweet little girl a few years ago. Her arrival has brought on a whole new world of inspiration and ideas for me! I am blessed to stay home with our 'Little Tutu' -which she is lovingly referred to as - which allows me to fulfill not only some of my goals, dreams, and aspirations, but all of them!
